My iPhone 5 has very bad battery life especially when on 4G LTE it gets extremely hot. Or when I play a game it gets extremely hot. I have literally adjusted all my settings too limit battery consumption but it still reduces extremely fast and the Wi-Fi disconnects a lot too. How can I get it replaced for a new one? What are some things you recommend for getting it replaced.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1

If there is an issue wih your phone, it can be replaced under Apple's standard warranty. There are no recommendations to give.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

If they do not resolve the issue, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.
