iPhone 4S: IOS 6.0.1 (10A523)

As soon as I remove iPhone from USB it disapears from iTunes.

My iPhone can remote control iTunes without any problems with the remote app. So there is some kind of connection.

On my iPhone under WiFi sync it says sync will continue when "computer" becomes available even though it clearly is available and running itunes.

I have tried what iTunes help says .. DUH .. like anyone would not do that.

  • Connect your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad to your computer and select your device.
  • Click Summary.
  • Select “Sync with this device over Wi-Fi.”
  • Disconnect your device from your computer.

Well I had to remove the “Sync with this device over Wi-Fi.” and then sync phone .. then add the “Sync with this device over Wi-Fi.” again and sync the phone just to be sure

I have tried connecting a charger to the iPhone even though that is a waste of time. Just cause people seem to think that could help.

I have tried restarting both the computer and the phone a few times.

It seems most people on these forums just say that Wi-Fi sync is just broken and has been for over a year. Might be true but isn't that unlikely that it isn't fixed yet? Even though it might be a circumstantial error.

Anyway I would appreciate any help you guys can provide.
