Try resetting your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
If that does not work, then restore your iPhone using iTunes.

Ugh, sorry about the late response. I've tried resetting and it didn't work. I attempted restoring but iTunes apparently says I don't have enough memory. How much memory would it require?? I have 22GB full of 32GB so I have to delete stuff in order to restore?

The more important question is how much space you have empty. When you do Settings > General > Usage on your iPhone, look at available space. The absolute minimum you would need is 3.2GB, which is 10% of your total space.
I recognize you said you have 22GB used, but it is not just a simple subtraction to determine how much storage you have available.

Well to be exact...
20.5/32 GB is used
7.7 GB is free.

7.7 GB sounds good to me.
Here's an article that addresses your situation. Hopefully one of the first two solutions they suggest will solve your issue. I sure hope this helps you!
