Power off your iPad completely and retest... (Not just disconnect..)
Also you may want to trash your Control Surface plist if that doesn't work...
- In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
- Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
- Press the Go button.
- If you are having trouble with a control surface in Logic Pro, then you may wish to delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder.
Don't forget to restart your Mac after removing that plist...
