Have yo contaced Hyundai/went to their support site? is the car system compatible with iOS 6.1? Sometimes a iOS update breaks compatibility. Is there an update available for your car system?

I am currently an owner of an Ipod Touch 4th generation. I see you are having problems with your Ipod Touch, so I will try to find a solution to your problem.
- Do a hard reset on the Ipod: Hold down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds or until Apple logo appears
- Try contacting Hyundai as it may be the factory`s fault (factory defect)
Hope that helps!
If none of the above solutions work, can you please respond back ASAP as I will try to find another solution to your problem (This might even help others with the same problem!)

I tried doing the hard reset but that didn't work. It isn't a factory problem because my iPhone 4 will work fine with the same iPod cord. There aren't any updates available for my car. I will try contacting Hyundai. Let me know if you have any further suggestions. Thanks!

Have you contacted Hyundai yet? If so, did this fix your problem?
