I have changed my apple ID, and verified it, but when I try to sign in on my iPad or iPhone, the old ID pops up and I can't sign in. I have deleted the old ID on my iPad, but that hasn't helped.

I have changed my apple ID and verified it, but when I try to update apps and have to sign in with my password, the old ID pops up and I can't sign in. I can sign in to iTunes with my computer though. What else can I try ?

iPad 2, iOS 6.1
