Very frequently, Safari, and Safari only, windows will exhibit the following behavior:
1) New windows open completely transparent, with only the drop shadow visible
2) When this occurs, existing browser windows' chrome will quit redrawing, so that I cannot see what I'm typing in the address bar, and resizing the window "swallows" it - as if it were pushing the web content *over* the browser chrome.
Restarting Safari is the only fix I have found for it. I have attached a screenshot of this behavior occurring over this very window.
This is a fresh install of 10.8.2 on a new hard drive, Safari has the following extensions installed (disabling does not change the behavior):
Mid-2010 27" iMac, also running a second 27" Dell display, in portrait mode. It doesn't seem to be related, but I'm including that information just in case. ATI Radeon HD 5750 graphics processor.
