Hi, hoping someone has a fix for an issue i'm having with iMovie. I'm running iMovie '11, iMovie 9.0.8 (1778) on a 15" MBP (2.54GHz processor) running OS Mountain Lion 10.8.2.

The problem I'm having is that the video is being zoomed or enlarged after I drag it from the Event Library to a Project. The result is that the final video doesn't have the full screen of video from the original import.

Here is a screen showing the frame when playing it back from the event library. You can see that around my head there is a lot of space to the left, and the 3 members of my family are in full view

Now, after I drag that same clip to the project and play it back, you can see the same frame is zoomed and it's not the same as the original. My eyes are cut off, and all around, the video has been zoomed or enlarged and isn't the same as the original .

The project settings are 4:3 ratio, and 30fps. The video was imported digitally from an old Sony DV camcorder that only records in 4:3

Having viewed other posts, I don't have anything set in System Preferences -> Accessibility regarding my zoom settings.

I just want to be able to have the original video that I imported, be the same after I import it into the project and export it to a file / DVD
