Have you tried a hard reset of the device yet to see if that helps at all?
If no luck after a few tries, try connecting it to an external power source for a few hours and letting it charge.
i tried a reset and charging it, i dont want to plug it into my computer because its not the computer its originally synced to so ill lose all my music so what should i do? just take it to the apple store? i dont want to make the trip if they cant help me the closes one is like 2 hrs away....
