    Yeah, i am had the same issue like Amanda 1990.. then i deleted and reinstalled the app, now it is not syncing as well. Viber team can you please reply me here as well.

    I've got the same issue as Kshaz. I was instructed by my service provider (3 mobile) to delete and re-install viber. I did it and now it does nothing including sync my contacts. 3 mobile assured me 100% they are not blocking voice over Ip apps at all and told me it was a maintenance issue in the area I am in. It seems that no matter what I post code I give them (I've been through most of NW London today) they're doing maintenance everywhere. I'm sure there has to be something else at play here.

    I'm using Viber in Monentenegro, and I had no problems till yesterday.

    None of the messages go through...Just says "sending" and that's it.

    I can't call anyone either.

    Can you please assist me?

    This seams to be an intermittent problem. I have had Viber working for about 3-4 hrs today but it does not want to work again now. It doesn't seem to be a network issue.

    Viber system is currently experiencing connectivity issues. This is related to our hosting provider (Amazon) that is having a major problem that also affects many other services worldwide.

     

     

    Amazon is on it, and we hope that with their help we'll be able to restore Viber's service soon.

    Dear Viber Team,

     

    Is viber working in Dubai?? I have been trying to set up viber on my iphone but everytime i start it will prompt me a message that i need to have connection to initialize the set up although I am connected to the internet. Please help me with the issue.

    The authorities in the UAE have decided to block Viber in the whole country, and that is why you are experiencing this issue. Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help


    You may try contacting the authorities and ask for the reason for this block.

    Hello viber team! My fiancee is in the philippines and since yesterday she's been having a problem with connectivity. She then updated the app nothing changed. Then she reinstalled viber completely and she cant get past the first setup page returning: no connectivity. She resides in the Philippines, with carrier SMART telecoms, The issue only just occured yesterday we've been using viber for all our communication needs.

    I am having the same problem as CRAKZOR.

     

    i am from the phillippines, and SMART's my Carrier. this problem started last 02/09/2013 late in the evening, around 10, i guess.. and I haven't been able to connect--- unless I'm on wifi. I tried calling my network and they say everything's fine -- which is true since i CAN access all other apps that are 3G dependent.. Please advice. I've already submitted a ticket(viber). I hope this issue can be resolved as quickly as possible- It's our family's communication line for free calls:(

    Hi,

     

    Some mobile operators across the world block Viber on their 3G network. Usually this happens when users have a "simple" data plan (or a prepaid contract), meaning they didn't pay extra for using VoIP on their 3G network.


    In order to verify this, we recommend to:

    1. Test Viber on a few different WiFi networks, and see that it works fine.

    2. Contact your cell company and confirm this with them.

    Hi ViberTeam

    Since I updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 6.1.1, audio Viber is failing, only works with speaker or headset but does not work with the normal audio. Normal voice calls I can make it. Do you know what can I do for that? Please help me, I just make this kind of calls... just with viber!!

    Hello, I was just wondering why it is that when I search for 'Viber' on the App Store on my ipad2. The app does not show up. If I google search Viber, I get a link that opens up my App Store, and there it is, but I cannot find it from a search directly inside the App Store.

    If anyone knows why this is, I'd like to know. Thanks.

    Don't worry about that question. I just realised that it doesn't show up because it is under iPhone apps, not ipad apps.
