Mac Acting Weird

Okay...

 

So I turn on my Mac and it is asking me to log in every time I turn it on/restart. I have other accounts on this Mac but it never asked me to do this before (unless I was moving in and out of accounts).

 

Also... I can't turn on the sound. It is set to MUTE and it is greyed out.

 

Lastly, the screen seems to flicker in the middle some times when I move files around on the desktop.

 

Any help with this would be great as I need audio!

 

Thank you in advance and I hope I haven't caught a virus somehow.

    It's not a virus because none exist for OS X. However try System Preferences - Users & Groups - and uncheck the box that says, "Name and Password" It will look like:
