    Come on Apple. I have an Iphone 5 on Three network UK. The 3G is flakey and the battery lasts about 2 hours. WHY!

     

    Please release a patch ASAP as I cant use my data plan!!

    Yes!!!here in Spain it's the same ****. I've got the same problem with my Iphone 5 and vodafone.

    I hope the new 6.1.1 fix this issue in the Iphone 4S and they launch it for the Iphone 5 too.

    This issue is not only from 4s...

    Just found this:

    update iOS 6.1.1 has been released on Monday, February 11, 2013.

    It seems the update only affecting 4S, not sure if they have a different one for iPhone 5.

     

    Has anyone got it and does it fix the connection issue?

    I cant beleive this!!.. Apple only update with the 3G connectivity issue only on Ip4s!!.

     

     

    Ip5 also have this problem.. Why no news on ip5 and no update for the 5!???..

     

     

    Come on man.. Since when Apple only cater for certain model only????

    Unbelievable, iOS 6.1.1 its for the 4S ONLY??? Whats in their minds??? Hello Apple, iPhone 5 is your most recent model, maybe you should take into consideration fixing the 3G problem on it also. There are thousands of users who have paid lots of money to have the latest of your technology, so it would be nice for us also to receive the solution to the 3G issue...

     

    Said it once and I will say it again. Apple its not the same since Steve Jobs died....

    Hi, I am on iPhone 5 iOS 6.1 and since then my phone won't select 3G. It's stuck on EDGE. I tried the workarounds in the forum but they appear temporary. Once the phone goes back to EDGE it never goes back to 3G again. I don't know whether this is my network or my iPhone, but the behaviour is the same as posted on this thread. My 3G coverage is a little variable at home. I wonder if it would go on 3G in a strong 3G signal area.

    I noticed the iOS 6.1.1 update for iPhone 4S only on a similar issue. Does that imply there is not a related problem with iPhone 5?

    I installed the 6.1.1 update, have done quite a few restores and still have no service going on 24 hours. Returning the phone today for a new handset.

    installed ios 6.1.1. already. still got that problem. got 3G signal on the top left of my phone but "no internet connection". ios 6.1.1. suppose to fix the problem. but it DIDNT! my iphone 4s still got that problem. already reported it to apple. hope they will take notice.

    Come one Apple.. Still no patch for the Iphone 5???.. We also having this difficulties as well... Why cant they notice about this...:(..

     

    To be honest, somehow i have lost a lil bit faith on Apple Products.. They treat me like this.. I have to fork out $$ amount of money to get this model.. And until now 3G connection issue still there..:(..

     

    Send email to them, 3 times.. No reply till then... Dont they bother what happen here or they just treat us as isolated case... Sad sad sad with Apple..

    I am also having this issue with my iphone 5 in the uk! Its a nightmare, i am restarting phone on average 10 times a day to restore connectivity, before i updated to 6.1 it was fine so i know its not my supplier and not my phone its the software.....Fix this apple!

    Hi, try changing your Carrier setting from Automatic to Manual and selecting your carrier from the list.

    No yet, they called me yesterday and they said me that they still looking for the problem in iPhone 5 when they found the solution they are going to call me, they Suppose that next week they are going to have and answer of this problem.

    Indonesia,, So do I.. make me crazy waiting connect to 3G.. Is the iPhone 5 fix only with Edge?? all the way i've done to connect the 3G.. and the weird thing is i have to rechange my nano sim card just to connect the 3g and then insert the nano sim that i usually use, getting 3g yes..but it just for 15 minutes to 30 minutes.. theeeeeeen Edge Edge Edgeee...
