Q: do not disturb is not working

the DO NOT DISTURB feature is not working on my phone. even while it is turned on i get all the calls.

iPhone 5, iOS 6

Your screen must be locked.
Did you used schedule or just turned on DND?
Did you set any exeption in "allow calls from"?

just turned DND...
yes i set exception as allow calls from favourites
