My wife's iPad has at least 2 enties for every event, some with more. My iPad calendar shows only a couple of dupes - the rest of it is correct. All entries originate from one MS Outlook 2007 on my PC, and it is correct.  Both iPad are to sync via wi-fi, and I occasionally hook them both up to the PC for app updates, etc. Guess I have hidden calendars on the internet that I cannot find. Can anyone help me?   Thanks.

you probably have your icloud calendars displaying in addition to ones with the same names stored locally.

When you say 'locally', are you saying on my PC?

Sorry, I was stating the above as if you were using your PC.   But yes, you have a calendar you are sharing locally on your PC and the same calendar in your iCloud calendars = 2 calendars with the same info make for double events.

I may be wrong about which calendars are displaying, but I am pretty sure that your issue is that you have the same events in separate calendars, ex: google and iCloud both turned on, but both are same events so you see them twice.

Well, I am on the PC and looking at both iPads....  I HAD 2 calendars showing on my iPad - the one I really use and one called 'Calendar'. When I deleteted 'Calendar' from my iPad, my iPad calendar is now correct.  Yea - thanks!  But, on my wife's, she has only one calendar, and it has all the double/triple entries even though the PC calendar has one for each entry. Is it possible that I screwed it up when I did, at different times while trying to fix this, that I turned off & turned back on the icloud storage of the iPad calendar? It asks 'what would you like to do with previously synced iCloud calendars on your iPad?'  Options are 'keep on iPad', 'delete from iPad' and 'cancel'.   I've said yes to both at different times. But, just looking at her calendar on icloud.com via my PC, the calendar there is exectly like what appears on her iPad - dupes everywhere, all on the same calendar.  (I just changed the color on her iPad & it showed almost immediately on the PC icloud.com, so it is syncing itself that way). If what I did, did in fact mess up the iCloud calendar, can I somehow delete ALL the calendar info in iCloud and then update it ONCE the normal way, via Outlook/PC? Long-winded - sorry.

Make sure you avoid syncing calendars with iTunes if you are using iCloud to store your clalendars.

If you delete your iCloud calendar, it will no longer be usable from all devices that sync with the iCloud calendar.

You can delete it and start over, though, from the edit menu in the sidebar.

I have been going through manually in the PC view of her icloud.com calendar and deleting duplicates.  Several dupes disappeared on the iPad calendar.  But, now I find that others are on her iPad calendar that show on the PC calendar but not on the icloud calendar. Geez. Must be another calendar I cannot find, maybe on my PC.   ?????
