I'd look at these options
It that fails,
DFU mode is a state that you can put your iPhone into where it can interface with iTunes but does not load the iPhone operating system or boot loader (this is what really differs DFU mode from recovery mode). DFU stands for Device Firmware Update.
- While connected to PC, running iTunes, hold down Home and Power( button on upper right edge) button for exactly 8 seconds.
- Release the power button. Restore message will appear in iTunes. The device will be recognized by iTunes, but no display will appear on the device itself. The lack of a display on the device will verify that it is in dfu mode.
