Like many, I have had my share of problems with Home Sharing, but I can usually reset a few things, log out, log in, and it'll work again.  But I am stumped by the problem I am having.

I recently downloaded about 3 new movies, and a few episodes from the current season of a TV show.

None of the new content appears on any iOS device using home sharing.

The old content is there, but neither the new movies nor the new season fo the TV show are available.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I have logged out, cold restarted the iPad, restarted the source computer, logged in, forced quit the video app on the iPad, etc.

All software is fully up to date.

Thanks

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

    Hello -

I had the same problem as well, no new purchases showing on any of my iOS devices. So I took a look and noticed that the old purchases were either in Standard Definition (480p) or High Definition (720p).  My recent purchases were in High Definition but at 1080p.  So I deleted the files and re-downloaded the videos in 720p format. I went to my iPad 2, killed the video app, restarted and my recently added TV shows were there.

In iTunes you can set the download preferences for downloading HD content. To do so; select Preferences, go to the store tab, and click the drop-down and change to 720p (there are only two choices 720p or 1080p)  My guess is that the display on the iOS devices can not handle 1080p content or that type of protocol is not supported.

Let me know if this helps
