It is a MacBook 3.1 qirh Intel Core 2 Duo, L2 Cache of 4 MB, memory of 4 MB, Bus Speed 800 MHz. Looks like from the page you sent me to it will not up grade.
The real issue is I cannot syc my new iPhone 5 with my iTune version and to get the newer iTune version I need a later version of OS X. Any comments?

You only need to upgrade to 10.6.8 to sync that iPhone.

The 10.6 Snow Leopard DVD is back in the Apple online store. You can get it for $19.99. You will need to be running 10.6.8 to access the App Store to order Lion. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
