1 TB is the largest notebook drive at the present.

And my Macbook can support that? Is it an easy self install?

Yes. It is not that hard. Visit OWC to find drives and prices as well as tools and tutorials.

I have a late 2009 MacBook White with 4GB Ram and running on Lion.
I just installed a 750 GB Seagate Momentus XT with 8 GB SSD hybrid drive. It was no trouble and works fast and perfect!
Just make a new partition on the new disk, clone your current HD to the new disk (I used Carbon Copy Clone) and then replace. Simple as that!
It just makes a bit more noise and battery life is shortened because of the specs of the Seagate HD.
I hope this was helpfull.
