All of the apps I've downloaded to my Ipod Touch appear on my iPad and vice versa. There are a few that I would never use on the iPod, such as Pages. Is there a way to permanently remove it from one device but not the other?

Just delete them from the device. Touch and hold the app until they all start to wiggle. Then tap the circled minus sing by the app you want to delete.

If you want to prevent the automatic downloads, go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and turn off Automatic Downloads.
