    Need more info..

How have you setup disk access in the TC?

Are you trying to access the TC twice from the same computer with different users.. this is not possible.. you must disconnect one user to logon with another.

Try just turning on the guest access with full read and write access.

Going back to your first post.. everything was fine unti you installed the new version of the airport utility.. is that what you mean by drivers.. or firmware on the TC.. both have been troublesome.

Do a factory reset of the TC.

Setup with all SMB names.. ie short, no spaces pure alphanumeric.

Same for TC name, Wireless name and the TC disk share name, which is Data so fine.

When I look at the TC I get exactly the same permissions as you, but i have no issues writing to the TC.

When you open the airport utility check what the share disk is set to..

If you have no luck after the reset.. install the older 5.6 utility where you can actually set useful stuff instead of just toyland stuff.

Actually just doing this I notice that the TC has been changed over to turn off guest account which I had turned on.

Make sure you are not connected to the guest wireless.. as the new firmware does funny stuff.

How to load 5.6 into ML.

    1. Download 5.6 for Lion.

Click to open the dmg but do not attempt to install the pkg.. it won't work anyway.

    2. Download and install unpkg.

Run unpkg on the desktop.. it is very simple.. drag the AirPortUtility56.pkg file over to unpkg.. and it will create a new directory of the same name on the desktop.. drill down.. applications utilities .. there lo and behold is Airport utility 5.6 .. drag it to your main utilities directory or just run it from current location.

You cannot uninstall 6.1 so don't try.. and you cannot or should not run them both at the same time.. so just ignore the toyland version.. the plastic hammer.. and start using 5.6.. a real tool.

You will lose nothing on the hard disk.. only router settings... nothing more.

Post your screen shots of the file sharing page.

Please turn on the guest account to full read and write access. But you can only do it via 5.6 utility.. there are multiple methods to do this.. just google for one of the others.

Just setup as a create new network. Doesn't matter what you set as you can edit it later.

The main thing is to start with all SMB names.. short, no spaces... pure alphanumeric.

Isolate the computer and the TC from the rest of the network and start over.

The guest account I referred to is on the TC.. not the computer.. you cannot get to it via the v6 utility though.
