Some time has passed since the original post, but just want to say that deleting my iCloud account, then re-installing it, does the trick. This has happened a couple of times to me but the fix has always worked.

    Thanks jva50.

Given a few hours left alone, my iPhone finally seemed to sync itself..... the down side of this is I don't know which of the fixes I implemented actually solved the problem.

But I do have a sneaking suspicion that deleting the account and then re-logging-in is what did it.

Okay.  Tech isn't my thing and I just got this new IPhone and when I put my calendar info into ICloud all of the appointments show up as three hours later on the IPhone, so if I have a dental appt at 3 PM on ICloud on the Iphone it shows up as 6 PM. Both devices show the current time as correct (as opposed to my old IPOD which was always one hour WRONG no matter how many times I reset it). I tried doing the opposite and putting in a 3 PM appt on the Iphone and it appeared as 3 PM on Cloud but when I got back onto the IPHONE it had changed to  6 PM!  How can that be since I entered the time on the IPHONE! Also, this did not happen right away.  When I first put the appts in they were correct on both devices. It was like a day or two later that it screwed up although I'm not sure how soon it happened because I was still relying on my paper calendar at first. Anyhow, I don't own any devices except a PC and an IPhone. I tried all of the fixes on this list that were related to my problem, including deleting my ICloud acct from my IPHONE and rebooting the phone then reinstalling ICloud.  Didn't solve the problem

This helped me fix my issue:

1- Open the calendar app on your iPhone and click on the Calendars button in the upper left hand corner

2- In the Calendar list see if you have the calendar you are trying to sync under a heading called Untitled Accounts - if so these are the things that need to be moved

3- Below it you should have a heading called iCloud with a listing of calendars there - these are the calendars you need to move your events to

4- Open up each event on your iPhone and click Edit>Calendar and select a calendar that is one listed under the iCloud heading (I haven't figured out a way to move all of these easily- I did them one by one. If someone figures out how to move them en masse, please post)

5- Click Done>Done and go back to your claendar

6- Go into iCloud in your browser and see if the event moved (you may have to wait a minute and/or click on refresh Calendar)

7- It should now appear on your iCloud calendar.

8- After moving all of the events you should delete the Calendars under the Untitled accounts heading. You don't NEED to do this but I find it simplified everything for me.

9- Go into your Settings app- Click Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Default Calendar and select something that was under your iCloud account

Everything should now sync properly. :-)

Thanks for the suggestion.  As it happens, since my phone is new I tried Apple customer service for help.  They asked me some questions and discovered I was set to Apple time--that is, Cupertino, CA. So everytime I set a time, it got converted.  I changed my default settings to East Coast time and that cured it.  Although later I occaisionally found that an individual event was set to Cupertino time but recognized the 3 hour shift for what it was and corrected it. I read that some other people found the calendar to be a little hinky and I have found that as well.  Occasionally it does things and I don't understand what's happening.  But overall I love it.  Since I'm not tech savy and hate the hassle of figuring things out myself---I have too many other things to do deal with to try to solve tech problems too---I ended up signing up for the Apple service agreement which includes both software help and phone replacement if it's damaged for two years.

Under Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars session there is a SYNC option where you can choose how much time you want your past events to sync....somehow, this settings was altering the behavior of the sync of my future events...I just selected ALL EVENTS and all my future events came back....

    Hope it helps someone...

Here's what you do if your calendar on the I-cloud website isnt syncing with your mobile device.

    1. Sign into Icloud at icloud. com

    2. Click your name in the top right hand corner.

    3. Change "Time Zone" to your current time zone. (Click "Time Zone", select your time zone on the world map)

    4. Click "Done"

... refresh the online ICloud Calendar.. and VOILA!!! Problem Solved.

Ive just spent 5 hours working through this problem.

It turns out that the 'sync' menu item in mail contacts and calendars is only turned on when you have icloud enabled, which I didnt (and dont want to, actually).

This means that iTunes in iOS 6.0 and iOS 6.0.1 was trying to delete most of my diary/calendar/ical entries as the default is set to 30 days (fortunately I had it set to notify if iSync tried o delete more than 25% of entries - which I thought was set to 5%; in fact, it definitely was before I installed Snow Leopard).

I'm now (after multiple backups) going to attempt a full sync.

However, birthdays and other repeating events have dissappeared from the iPhone... (and had done before) seems I have to wait an hour to find out if birthdays aqre updating or not.

My company just abandoned Outlook (on PCs), replacing it with Google Apps for Government. Since the day of transfer, many of my calendar entries on iCalendar are missing from the iCloud version of the calendar. They remain on my iPhone, iPad and iMac at home; they're ONLY missing from the iCloud version. I thought my iDevices were pulling from the iCloud version so I'm very confused. I mention the Outlook transfer because it's very possible that all the entries now missing were originally entered into iCal while running Outlook at my office (although they were not entered via Outlook). I need to push the correct data, which appears on all my iDevices, to replace what is now being shown in the truncated iCloud version. (I'm terrified of synching the wrong way and losing all my data.) Does anybody know how to do this?

I noticed today that the events on my iCloud calendar on my iPhone are not syncing with the calendar on  I have tried making test events, calendars and anything else I can think of.  I dont understand why this is happening all of the sudden.  I've never had any issues with my calendars syncing but now its like one is still smart and the other is totally ********.  I'll illustrate below...

    This is from my iPhone

My work schedule is completley gone from but it still shows up perfectly on my iPhone and I am stumped!

I am also having the same problem described above.  Calendar on my iPhone is not syncing with my Mac and vice versa.  On everything is matching what is on my iPhone.  This has been going on since Feb 17th (2013).  I've toyed with settings and time zones and restarted both devices and Calendar and updated software.  Still nothing.
