Yes, that hasn't changed in IOS 6.

I tried to close by double tapping. but it doesn't. can u pls help me. I have Iphone 4.(upgraded to ios 6)

Did you hold down on the app, until you saw the x and then close out of the app.

Double tapping the home button doesn't close all the apps, you have to physically do it as stated above.

Dear Razmee, I meant not double tapping home key. Double Tapping Screen done same task in previos O/S. but it seems ios 6 does not support.

Sorry never heard of double tapping the screen to close out of apps.

Only thing is holding down on the app in the homescreen to either move apps into folder or to delete it.

actually it didn't close the app. it does the same thing what does by home key.(go to the background). I want go to the background by double tapping screen without pressing home key.
