Hi,

I need some help please, I cannot seem to find any answer. I already called apple, they don't make support for the studio under 10.8.2.

I had been running FInal Cut STudio 3 for two years until I changed for a retina two weeks ago.

I made an install of Lion 10.8.2 and then of Final Cut Studio 3 from the image disk. It has been working until today.

It suddenly asked me for the cd key, but then refused it and kept asking for it. I read a bunch of topic and decided to use FCS remover and to make a fresh install. Now the installation process stops very fast on the first cd, "Instalaltion Failed".

Could it be a compatibility problem with 10.8.2, maybe I should go back to 10.7.5?

Would a copy from my time machine work? It is a copy from my old machine.

Here is the interesting part of the error message.

any idea welcome thanks
