Well I'm still having a problem, would you know what else it could be?

If you take a look at the forum you will see that there are many threads related to this and other wi-fi issues related to ios 6.  There are many recommendations of things to do but it seems like none of them consistently fix the problem, or else they fix them temporarily and then the problem comes back.

Apple has announced that they will be releasing ios 6.0.1 as an update in the next couple of weeks.  This update is supposed to solve various bugs, including wi-fi issues.

Sorry that there doesn't seem to be a quick & easy fix -- I, too, am experiencing a variety of wi-fi issues since upgrading to ios 6.

I also have the same issue. 4S. No respite since the time I upgarded to 6.1.1 and even after 6.1.2 no change in wifi status. Support article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1559 does not help at all. Hoping and waiting for a resolution by apple. This has to be a software glitch in th ios.
