Where is the problem?
First, as long as you can "see" the AirPort Extreme with another Mac or PC, you do not need to have AirPort Utility installed on every computer.....you only need one computer to administer the network.
The Windows firewall or the anti-virus software on the Win 7 PC is likely blocking the connection from AirPort Utility on the PC to the AirPort Extreme.
If it is important that you be able to reach the settings from the Win 7 PC, then the place to start the troubleshooting would be the Firewall settings on the PC and/or the anti-virus settings.
As long as you can access the AirPort Extreme's settings with another Mac or PC, frankly I would not even bother with spending the time to try run this down, but it's up to you.

Bob, thank you for your reply. I really dont care if I cant run the airport utility on the PC, The only thing I care and what I cant achieve is to access the hard drive in the APE.
I dint think that the firewall or the anti virus could be the problem, but now that you mention it, that could be the problem. I will check that, thanks

I don't have a PC here to test with, so can't help on specifics for Win 7.
You will get a whole lot more views from qualified users if you start a new post stating that you want to be able to access the hard drive on the AirPort Extreme from your Win 7 machine.
That would seem to be the real issue here.....not AirPort Utility.

I just solved the same problem. My second PC was connected to Wi-fi from APE, but did not see it and I could not print.
I checked settings in PC and it was connected in gest line with APE and when I changed it to main line - everything is OK. Now my wife can print....:))

Hi, thank you for your reply. How do you do that thing that you mentioned? Any additional info will be appreciated. About the comments from Bob, I turned off the firewall and my anti virus and yet, I was not able to run the Airport Utility or find the HD in my desk, so not, those things dont seem to be the problem

I have my MacBook Pro and Sony PC from my wife. She uses my network from APE, but I made for her guest line in APE settings with another name. She needs wireless printing, but when I downloaded Airport Utility for Windows, I coudn`t find my APE with her PC. Then I change her guest network and chose main network for Mac and AirPort from Sony now works and sees APE. Then I download Bonjour program for PC and now she can print wireless.

Thanks, now I understand what you mean. And not, thats not my case, with the second PC (and with my other two computers) im using the same network, the mac and the first pc can run the airport utility and have access to the HD but no the other Pc.
I have one question, is not supposed that a representative from Apple should be around here answering our questions and providing support? I never had such problems with a new equipment and I really require support here from somebody from Apple, they already have my money, now I just want that their product does what is supposed to do.... That is WORK properly
