I'm getting this problem, too. Since updating my iPad 3 to iOS6 it glitches every 5 mins or so like clockwork. I'm sending audio to a Logitech bluetooth speaker adapter attached to Bose Companion 3 speakers... However, my iPhone 3GS that's still on 5.1.1 works fine over Bluetooth. Anyone have a solution?

As I've reported in another thread, the upgrade of my iPad to iOS6 left me without the possibility to connect to my external GPS. It's a 'known good' GPS (verified via Bluetooth connection to PC, opening the com port and retrieving NMEA data via Hyperterminal, if that means anything to anyone) which worked perfectly with the same iPad on iOS5.

Not sure what changes Apple made to the Bluetooth module in iOS6, but it needs a patch and it needs this patch very quickly !

I agree. I'm using GNS 1000 GPS and sometimes GPS data aren't transmitted to my iPhone. I need to reboot it to get it work...until the next glitch.

The Beta had the same problem with iPhone 4 . When connected to car Bluetooth would cut out like clockwork and the screen on the bluetooth will say TALKING...... it will last for about 15 seconds and then the music will resume at half volume. It also happens when connected with the apple TV. Does aplle lsten to this stuff???

The manufacturer of the GNS 5870 provided me the following response after inquiring about any incompatibilities since iOS6:

Thank you for your enquiry and information. The GNS receiver 5870-MFI and GNS 1000 are compatible with Apple iOS6 (tested and confirmed).

Please check if your navigation Apps are compatible with iOS6.

Please power cycle your iPAD (shutdown, restart) and activate Bluetooth and location service in your iPAD.

Then you can create a Bluetooth partnership between GNS 5870-MFi and your iPAD.
The Pin code for 5870-MFI is  "0000" (four times zero).

PS: Sometimes the location service manager of the iOS does not transmit the received GPS data of GNS 5870-MFI to the navigation app. Then a restart of iPad/iPod is necessary.

    Best regards

    Gerd

Hope this helps a little in nailing down the problem,

    It's more a workaround than a solution.

It's not acceptable from the customer point of view. I hope Apple will quickly solve this problem.
