Anyone lost photos from upgrading aperture?

    Search the fourm. Upgrading has been blamed for just about everything from speed issues to marital breakdown. If you want help you're going to need to give some information for us to work with - or just restore from your back up.

    I haven't personally.  That said, I'd always recommend you have good and up to date backups before upgrading the library.  In fact, I"d always recommend having good and up to date backups _always_.

    Here's how it was once put to me:

    Digital data can be destroyed faster than you can type F-I-R-E.  Never work on any file without having a backup of that file.
