Hi,

 

I have an iMac Mid 2011 (That I bought February 2012) and the third USB port from the right ( the second from the left) is not functioning properly. I connect my stuff through it and they show up on the desk top but 1 minutes and 30 seconds later it disconnects anything connected through it. I took it to my local mac dealer on the 28th of January this year because I noticed the problem 3 day before. They ran "some tests" that apparently takes 3 weeks to complete and a report to be sent and a response gotten which said "they saw no issue with my iMac".. I took it home booted it up and the problem still persisits.

 

I don't know what to do ... can anyone help me please ...

    Take it back or take it to an Apple Store. If the machine is still covered under warranty or if you have AppleCare any issues will be taken care of.
