I have bought an family license for iWork at best buy a few years back. I have an old macmini that is going to serve as homework tool for the kids. I wanted to install the iWork there for them, but can't find the original CD. Can't download from the App store, for it runs Mac OS 10.5.

I have it currently installed on my mac book pro. Is there a way to recover the license and media CD?

If you bought a DVD version there is no serial number and without the DVD you can't reinstall.

Which iWork do you have? 08 or 09? iWork 08 had a serial number for the disc version.

I don't think you got a licens with iWork 09 on a CD/DVD. If you copy all parts that is on the MBP and move them to the Mac Mini into the right places it should work.

iWork '09 folder in the Application folder with the content of PAges, Keynote and Numbers

iWork folder with content in Users Library > Application Support

iWork '09 in the Macintosh HD Library > Application support

FYI if you had told us your system version we had told you how to find the hidden Library!
