No, you should not lose your pictures and videos.

Okay, yes, you will lose all of your photos, videos and data if you Restore iPhone to Factory Settings

    Hello,

I am currently an owner of an iPod Touch 4th generation, running IOS 6.1.2. I will be glad to help solve your problem with your iPod/iPad/or iPhone.

Restore iPod/iPad/or iPhone (Restore to Factory Defaults):

    1. Plug into computer that has iTunes installed
    2. Go to iTunes
    3. Click on your device
    4. Click on the Summary Tab, and click on Restore

If you mean the above, then yes, that will erase everything. The best way to retrieve your stuff, is if you ever backed it up before, you will still have videos and so forth (if it was on there before)

    Hope that helps!

If none of the above solutions work, could you please reply back as soon as possible, as I will try to find another solution to your problem.

    Sincerely,

    Pizza98704

Thanks for replying. It seems like your problem is its in Recovery Mode.

    • There is nothing you could do to keep your videos and media on your iPhone. It is now in the stage, that it wants you to connect to iTunes. You will have to just restore to factory defaults:

First, restart your computer, so its fresh for iTunes to sync and do its thing. Then follow the steps outlined below:

Restore iPod/iPad/or iPhone (Restore to Factory Defaults):

    1. Plug into computer that has iTunes installed
    2. Go to iTunes
    3. Click on your device
    4. Click on the Summary Tab, and click on Restore

Now, do you have the videos and media on your computer? If so, drag them to your iTunes library.

Then re-sync them to you iPhone.

    Hope that helps!

If none of the above solutions work, could you please reply back as soon as possible, as I will try to find another solution to your problem.
