I pluued in my iPod classic for the first time today after lovingly ripping my 17 years worth of CDs.
Plugged it into the iMac, it found the iPod, I selected 11,000 songs to sync, it seemed to be going along fine. I had dinner adn let it finish, but it won't eject.
Upon reset I got "iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod." So I let it restore, but now it's back on it's just telling me the same thing. Edit: tried a second time, same thing, corrupted.
Anyone know why and if it can be fixed, or it's going back to PC World for a replacement tomorrow. Pfft?
