Trying to import Motion 5 files to FCP X but they remain pale in the menu - won't allow import.  Ideas?  Something obvious I'm not seeing?  Using a MacPro 3,1 2x2.8ghz quadcore, and latest Mountain Lion. 10.8.2  - CG

Final Cut Pro X, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Motion 5 projects/compositions can not be imported to FCPX. They must be shared as a .mov and then imported. You can publish them as a generator to FCPX and they will appear in the generator browser. If you create a title, transition or effect project in Motion you can also publish them to FCPX and see them in the effects, title or transiton browser. There is no round tripping as there was in legacy FCP and Motion 4.
