IF you set up find my ipod on the ipod itself AND it is on AND it is connected to wi-fi AND the thief has not restored it, then you may be able to get an approximate location using icloud.

Otherwise it cannot be tracked at all.

    Hello,

I am currently an owner of an iPod Touch 4th generation, running IOS 6.1.2. I will be glad to help solve your problem with your iPod/iPad/or iPhone.

    Lost or Stolen iPod/iPad/or iPhone:

If you have turned on “Find my iPod/iPad/or iPhone recently, then you can find it, by following these steps:

    1. Log into www.icloud.com with the Apple I.D. Associated with your iPod/iPad/or iPhone
    2. Click on Devices
    3. Click on the device that has gone lost
    4. Either put it in Lost Mode (suggested), or make it play a sound. (PLEASE NOTE: DEVICE MUST BE CONNECTED TO WIFI IN ORDER FOR THESE TO HAPPEN)

    Hope that helps!

If none of the above solutions work, could you please reply back as soon as possible, as I will try to find another solution to your problem.

    Sincerely,

    Pizza98704
