Windows 8 does not detect ATI X1600 card. Device manager shows Basic Microsoft Display and Dxdiag displays ATIBios. I know 8 is officially "unsupported" but it should detect video cards, right?

ATI's "Detect and install" does not work, while the Catalyst driver for x1600 simply states that it has failed to install.

The bootcamp drivers seem to work fine otherwise, but do not fix this problem.
