I am making some ringtones which only need to be monophonic. I believe I'm right in saying that a single track mono file will be a smaller file than a stereo one so I'm looking for a quick way to bounce to mono but as a single track. I've done some searching on forums but the regular way of changing the master fader to mono only produces a two track mono file. It seems my options from this are to go into another program and discard one track or to put the two track file back into Logic and do a mono bounce in place. I'm really looking for a quicker way to output to one track at the bounce stage. If it's not possible, would any of the workarounds keep the ID3 tags?
