I installed windows 7 on my mac mini and im trying to return to the mac, I cant find the bootcamp or the disc startup, what do i do?
Hold the "option" key at startup for a few seconds. You should get all bootable options, including recovery partitions (Lion and ML)
I just tried that and it dident work, I don't have an apple keyboard so it doesn't have an "option" key, I'm not sure it it matters. I have a Logitech keyboard
Option is "alt" on some keyboards.
Control is still control.
The funny Windows flag key is "command".
That's what I used and it still didn't work.
Is it wireless keyboard? Sometims the "BT" or "RF" detection kickis in too late in the boot sequence.
Yes it is
Get a cheap wired keyboard. Does not have to be reliable or top-quality, just functional as "disaster recovery".
Ok, thanks for the advice.
When you get back in, under SystemPreferecne > Startup disk, you can make OSX the default.
There is a setting under BootCamped Windows to set startup disk from that side, but I will admit I need to look for other threads that describe how to use it.
