Q: deleted songs in iTunes match from iCloud song still in iCloud after deleted the song in cloud from iTunes library

Hi,

I subscribed to itunes match, I want to delete certain songs from iCloud. I went into icloud downloaded the songs I want to delete from icloud. I want to permanently get rid of these songs from my library. I checked the box delete from icloud when I deleted them. I restarted my computer and cleared all cookies and went back into the purchased tab in itunes and the songs are still there.

Do the apple servers need time to update the deletion or do I need to repeat the process? Please help me. I never want to see these songs again in my icloud and I want to make sure I get rid of them for good.

thank you

Its since the new Itunes upgrade and it will not delete the songs from the cloud - some of the music is my original music and I want it deleted - if necessary I will get legal advice about this to have MY MUSIC removed

He's talking about removing them from his account, not iCloud.  Notice he said "and went back into the purchased tab in itunes and the songs are still there."

So, it's not an cloud issue, nor is it an itunes match issue.

Is that the issue you're having, which prompted you to post to this thread that's about 9 months old?  If so, you can hide the purchases.

I also found your legal threat ammusing.  Thanks for that.

No he's not " I want to delete certain songs from iCloud."  perhaps u cant read

all Itunes Match things are "cloud issues" one way or the other

the legal threat is for real - I will be in touch with my Intellectual Copyright solicitor before I speak to Apple tomorrow -

You can't read one part and ignore what followed.  "went back into the purchased tab in itunes and the songs are still there."

He was only seeing the songs he had purchased on his account, which could be redownloaded.

If that's what you're talking about, you're just as foolish.
