Q: I  would like to store some pics on my sd card to bring them to Costco for printing, but I am not Able to transfer the pics to the card. Any help?

    You can't transfer them directly from the iPad to the SD card.  You'll need to transfer them to a computer and then copy them over to the SD card.

    You could also see if costco has any service where you can upload the photos. FOr example I upload mine to walgreen's site to print. BUt you cannot write anything to the card from an iPad. the protocol isn't supported at all.

    Easiest way is to transfer the photos to your computer. Then copy them to your ad card. You should be backing up all your photos on your computer anyway. Having them only on your iPad is asking for trouble should something happen to your iPad.
