Yes, but only your Home folder and third-party Applications. Do not do a full restore which will end up putting an older version of Mountain Lion on the new computer. That older version will not work with the new models.

A different build number but the same version number. The build is proprietary to the new model and not publicly available. The retail version of Mountain Lion will not be compatible until the next update to 10.8.3, which would be the next in the series.
