I've been advised to delete the first .xml file (last updated Oct 2010 - when the MacBook was brand new) on the Sonos forum.
I had some terrible issues with iTunes in 2011, when it was corrupt and I lost 3,000 tracks.
Are there any risks with deleting the first .xml file?

Really appreciate if somebody has a view on deleting the .xml file.
Intuitively I feel like I should leave it alone, as I've had no issues with iTunes since I reinstated the 3,000 tracks.
However, it appears the file isn't being used and may resolve the issue with Sonos.
Any thoughts welcome.
