I have a Plantronics M100 Bluetooth headset, and I've always had clicks and pops in the earpiece when I use it.  I'm kinda sick of it and would like to spend a little time trying to make it not do that!

 

The headset works fine with my iPhone 4S.

 

As per Plantronics tech support, I've tried removing the Bluetooth device from my Bluetooth settings, rebooting the Mac and re-pairing.  And, since that didn't work, apparently Plantronics is now completely out of ideas and is sending me to Apple.  Well done, Plantronics.  Inspiring.

 

I welcome any suggestions that'd help me troubleshoot this problem.
