Back up your data using Time Machine or "clone" software, or otherwise copy what you cannot live without. Liquid damage is insidious and can result in a failure of any internal component, days or weeks from now.
Once safely backed up, continue to use it. Whatever damage occurred cannot be undone, and will not be any cheaper to fix now than later.

An important action to take ASAP is to put your homeowners'/renters' insurance carrier on notice that an accident occurred. You'd be surprised how many people here found out this kind of damage was covered by an existing policy. Insurance companies usually replace the computer instead of trying to have it repaired.
Of course the replacement cost is subject to a deductible in most cases.
