Sep 11, 2012 1:33 PM in response to stephen from strabaneby stephen from strabane,Ok, so I finally got around to trying to transfer my contacts from my gmail account to the 4s. As suggested I set up my gmail account on the phone and it only showed me options for mail, calendars and notes. There didn't appear to be any option for contacts?

Sep 11, 2012 2:53 PM in response to stephen from strabaneby stephen from strabane,Once again Google is my friend . A quick search and I got the following solution:
- Go into itunes, click on your iphone in the under devices section on the left hand side.
- Then you will see all the options for configuring your iphone on the right of the screen.
- Select 'info' (after summary) and check the box "synch contacts with" and then choose google contacts.
Enter your gmail details and sync the iphone in iTunes and all your contacts should transfer no problem

Mar 5, 2013 3:53 PM in response to stephen from strabaneby manoliskritikos,First, make sure you've set up your e-mail account on your new iPhone. Then, back on your computer, send yourself an e-mail with the VCF file as an attachment. Open that e-mail on your iPhone and tap the attachment, located at the bottom of the message. At the top, tap "Add all contacts." Your contacts will be saved to your iPhone.

Aug 22, 2013 8:32 AM in response to manoliskritikosby Logan_Xe,You are amazing !!! I had vcf file backed up from my HTC. Jus sent it as a mail & added all the contacts. I would say this is the easiest option ever found.
