I live in Argentina and my english is not good enough but I'll do my best using my poor english:

I've bought a 21" iMac 1 year ago. Mountain Lion came preinstalled.

Now, I'd like to format and reinstall my computer, but I realised I don't have a ML copy, download code or something to do this task.

Didn't I paid for that software? How can I solve this?

Thanks a lot for your time.

    Very simple Pablo!

First backup your system completely to an external HD using either Time Machine or create a bootable clone.

Next restart in the Recovery Partition built into your system. Google it if you don't know how to restart into the recovery partition.

Start Disk Utility and reformat the interal HD then exit DU and select Install Mountain Lion and last if you want to restore from your backup then choose restore from Time Machine.
