Q: Says No CD Burner software

When I place a blank CD in my burner Itunes acknowleges the blank cd, yet when I hit burn, it says no cd burner software installed.

    Could you post your diagnostics for us please?

     

    In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". (If you're running iTunes 11.0.x you'll need to bring up your menu bar first to see the Help menu.) Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

    ... and click "Next".

     

    When you get through to the final screen:

    ... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here. (Use your Ctrl-V keyboard shortcut to paste.)

    Error while opening iTunes CD driver.  This could be caused by a corrupted iTunes file or a conflict with other older CD burning applications, either currently installed or previously installed and uninstalled incorrectly.

    With that one, I'd start with solution 3 from the following document:

    Yes, That worked. Strangely when I went to burn a 3rd CD it gave me the same message. Restarted and it worked alright again. Thank You
