Q: Do Not Disturb is not working for my Favorites: calls do NOT come through from numbers on Favorites list

I have set my favorites properly but when my Do Not Disturb is activated at night, their calls do not come through as they should.

I have done this test with them and when they call, it just goes straight to voicemail.

Anyone else experiencing this? And how do you fix it so DND actually does what it is supposed to do?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6

I had the same problem, and it was related to having multiple linked contacts on my favorites. View one of your favorite contact records through the phone or address book app, and scroll to the bottom to see if there are more than one contact record linked.

I have a mail server that does ActiveSync for mail, contacts, calendars, etc. and my favorites had both a regular iphone contact record and a record from the mail server that were linked, and it caused problems. I had to unlink, (at which point I had duplicate contacts for the person), delete the iphone contact, leave the activesync contact, and then DND started working properly for incoming phone calls, where previously they went to voicemail. Texts from favorites still aren't coming through though.
