Hey guys,

I have trouble recieveing e-mails on my apple devices lately.

I can't recieve emails in the mail apps on my macbook pro and my iphone 4 via my local network.

On my mac: All my accounts are always offline. When i open the connection doctor he says my internet connection is fine but my mailaccounts are not able to connect to the IMAP server. Internet works perfectly. But when iam in another wireless network i have no problem at all, email's working fine.

On my iphone: Can't recieve mails because i cant connect to imap. As soon as i leave my local wireless network it works fine.

What can be the issue?

Thanks !

Your router forwards requests differently for the internal network as it does for the outside internet.  You either need to change your router configuration to make the imap work in all locations, or you need to change your imap server IP in your mail app to the private LAN IP of your IMAP server so that it works on your internal network.... this will break it, though, for accessing your IMAP server from the internet.
