The millions of people who have purchased the iPad mini don't seem to agree with you, though. And I don't see how the introduction of the iPad mini hurt anyone in any way. If it doesn't suit your needs, then just don't buy it. The larger iPad is still available and doesn't seem to have suffered in any way by the existence of the smaller sibling.

I disagree with Elliot as well. I work with a large number of users, and their view is that it is an outstanding device for use by clinicians. It is just the right size to fit in the pocket of a lab coat. Women also seem to like it because it can fit in a purse. As Varjak has said, the real proof is in the sales.
