Well that does not solve the issue. To save an email to a subfolder one has to scroll through all folders/subfolders to navigate to the saving folder. I have 100's of subfolders so it is a bit inconvenient and not too mention extremely tedious.

Ok, gotcha - I thought that you just didn't want to see the subfolders.
You can send a feedback here to Apple http://www.apple.com/feedback/ I think I've read a couple of threads expressing the same desire as you. Hopefully Apple listens and implements it in future software updates.

I have just been forced to move from a company Blackberry to an iPhone (only 2days ago) and the inability to collapse all my folders in seriously annoying! I also have many (hundreds of folders).... as i come from the Windows World.
I want to put my files and emails where i can find them.
How do Apple suggest i make sure my inbox is neat and tidy?
