Mar 14, 2013 3:40 PM in response to carole1965by Demo,Try rebooting again. Are you waiting until the Apple logo appears on the screen before you let to of the buttons? When you reboot, does that get you out of the frozen screen?
And what does your computer have to do with this, or did you mean your iPad and not your computer?

On your iPad, Did you try holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears? If you didn't try it, go ahead and do it. Wait until the Apple logo appears on the iPad screen before you let go of the buttons.
